Principal Message
Teaching and learning has been the manifestation of my deep passion for sharing of knowledge. It empowers the students and enlarges the horizons of their minds. It not only enables a person to earn his living with respect and dignity but also energizes the society. Science education is an effective medium of social transformation that contributes in the development of the society and the nation.
I am greatly pleased to proudly place on record the establishment of Post graduate College of Science, Technology and Research (PGCSTR), as the outcome of the visionary dream of our Hon’ble President, Mr. N. G. Bendale – a humble servant of education whose mission to provide facility of post graduate education in science to the students of mofussial places and diverse socio-economical strata.
In order to achieve our vision and mission, the college is prepared to take all that it takes for excelling in the academics. We take every effort to attain high standards in discipline, ethics and values among our students, the future scientists. Students become well trained by being a part of the ‘Prospective Researchers’ Scheme’ (PRS) through which they able to participate in research projects and to prepare research articles of an international standard. The institute organizes competitions, workshops to enhance scientific and technological attitude amongst the students. The college offers the value added certificate courses for imparting transferable and life skills to the students.
I feel encouraged, looking at the bright and successful careers of our Alumni, who excelled in their respective professions and subsequently benefitted the society. It gives us a sense of pride that we are part of such an excellent institute, which is shaping modern India.
